What is a new 20ft Tank shipping container?
The 20ft Tank container is a shipping container fitted with an integrated steel tank. It carries liquids or gases "in bulk"; that is, unpackaged, directly in the tank, with no drums or cans. The "first-trip" designation refers to a new unit, which has made only a single positioning journey before being put up for sale: tank never filled, original valves and seals.
The tank offers a usable capacity of 26,000 liters for 32,580 kg of payload. It is housed in a Corten steel box, a self-weathering steel that resists marine corrosion on its own, in the standard ISO format. Loading is from the top, unloading from the bottom, and pressure gauges monitor pressure and fill level.
