The 40ft Tank container is the long format for bulk liquid transport. "In bulk" means unpackaged: the liquid or gas is loaded directly into an integrated steel tank. The "first-trip" designation refers to a new unit, which has made only a single positioning journey before being put up for sale.
The long tank offers a usable capacity of 45,000 to 47,000 liters, housed in a Corten steel box, a self-weathering steel that resists marine corrosion on its own, in the 40ft ISO format. The payload is 17,630 kg: a value reduced by the tank's structural weight, to be weighed against the considerable volume.
