What is a used 20 ft Reefer shipping container?
A Reefer container is a refrigerated container: a built-in refrigeration unit produces and maintains a chosen temperature, adjustable from −25 °C to +25 °C. "Used" means the unit has already spent several years in maritime service, then been reconditioned; inspected and refurbished at our French depots. The 20 ft format is the standard for refrigerated logistics.

The box is made of fully welded Corten steel, a steel that naturally resists marine corrosion, with a stainless steel interior finish. Before shipping, the refrigeration unit is tested (refrigeration unit manufacturer or refrigeration equipment manufacturer depending on the unit), watertightness checked and the aluminum T-rail floor cleaned.
Usable capacity remains 28.4 m³ for a 27,230 kg allowed load; identical to the new model. A few marks of use remain on the surface, worn paint, lashing marks, localized oxidation, with no effect on thermal regulation or compliance.
