The term "first-trip" (also called one-trip) means it is a new unit, straight from the factory after a single positioning trip.
The combination of increased width and High Cube height frees up a usable volume of 76 m³ and allows direct loading of 24 Euro pallets 800 × 1200 mm, with light stacking possible; stacking pallets on two levels. The new structure rests on a fully welded Corten steel box, a steel that naturally resists marine corrosion, and a 28 mm marine plywood floor.
In the long 40 ft HC format, the unit offers 76 m³ usable for a 26,460 kg payload and a 2.69 m internal height. It's the reference for large-volume pan-European pallet logistics: multi-customer turnarounds and food or cosmetics exports in bulk packaging.

The Euro pallet, the continent's standard pallet, measures 800 × 1200 mm. A classic Dry container has an internal width of 2.35 m. This width doesn't leave room to line up pallets in their most compact orientation: space is lost in every row.
The Pallet Wide widens the internal width to 2.44 m, 9 cm more. This gain is enough to fit Euro pallets with no wasted space. On a 40 ft High Cube, it allows 24 pallets on the floor; the 2.69 m HC height additionally allows light stacking, up to 48 pallets on two levels.
