The used 10 ft High Cube shipping container combines a small footprint with an increased height 9'6", 2.89 m outside, 2.69 m inside, at a reduced price compared to the new model. "High Cube" refers to a container raised 30 cm above the standard format. Bought back from the global maritime fleet after several years of service, it is inspected and reconditioned at our French depots before sale.
The Corten steel box, a self-weathering anti-corrosion steel, keeps its mechanical performance: frame intact, watertightness re-tested, floor inspected. A few marks of use, worn paint, surface oxidation, lashing marks, are evidence of its history without affecting its function.

How is a used container inspected?
Before sale, each unit undergoes a full inspection at the depot. Watertightness is tested by water spraying; the structure is inspected against the light, from the inside, to spot the smallest gap. The floor is replaced if degraded, and the seals checked.
The CSC plate, Convention for Safe Containers, is then re-validated by an accredited body. The unit then receives "Cargo Worthy" (CW) status, which certifies its fitness for international maritime transport. Used containers thus give access to High Cube height at a reduced price.
