A Double Door container is a container fitted with doors at both ends of the body, not just one. "Used" refers to a reconditioned unit; a body already in service, inspected and checked at the depot before being put back into circulation. The 40ft format is the long format in the range.

Both ends receive double doors opening at 270°: the container becomes a high-volume logistics tunnel, loaded from one side and unloaded from the other. The Corten steel body, a self-weathering steel that naturally resists marine corrosion, retains its original 40ft structure. The long seals and locking bars are inspected or replaced at the depot, on both door interfaces.
In the long 40ft format, the reconditioned unit frees up 66.9 m³ of usable volume for a 26,580 kg payload and 28 m² of floor space. It is a proven solution for high-volume FIFO cross-docking at a controlled cost: decommissioning, modular construction, wine industry.
