A Double Door container is a container fitted with doors at both ends of the body, not just one. "HC" stands for High Cube: the container gains about 30 cm of height compared with the standard 8'6" format. "Used" refers to a reconditioned unit; a body already in service, inspected and checked at the depot before being put back into circulation.
Both ends receive double doors opening at 270°: the container becomes a high-volume logistics tunnel, loaded from one side and unloaded from the other. The Corten steel body, a self-weathering steel that naturally resists marine corrosion, retains its original long HC structure. The long seals and locking bars are inspected or replaced at the depot.
In the 40ft HC format, the reconditioned unit frees up 76.3 m³ of usable volume for a 26,460 kg payload, 9.4 m³ more than a standard 40 Double Door. The interior height reaches 2.7 m. It is a proven solution for tiered high-volume FIFO cross-docking, at a controlled cost.

Double Door: what is a logistics tunnel for?
A standard container has doors at only one end. To empty it, you always come back to the same side. The Double Door adds a second set of doors at the other end of the body. The container becomes a tunnel: you go in one side, out the other.
This tunnel serves two warehouse logics. FIFO first; First In, First Out: the first pallet loaded is the first to come back out, without moving the others. Cross-docking next: placed between two docks, the container receives incoming goods on one side and ships out on the other, with no turning maneuver. Flows gain in speed and order.
